TikTok Launches Gen Z Career Service

Sources said TikTok is testing a recruiting tool for brands.

Details: The pilot program is designed to help people find jobs on TikTok and connect with companies looking for candidates. It is also intended to help brands use TikTok as a recruiting channel.

The company is currently testing the service with a beta group of companies. Several major brands, including sports leagues, were asked to participate.
The platform is not a product integrated into TikTok itself, but a separate web page accessible through the TikTok app where brands can post jobs, most notably entry-level listings.
Users can post a TikTok video resume on the site rather than a traditional resume. The idea is for users to uniquely tell about themselves or their experiences through video.
TikTok will ask candidates to post a resume video on their TikTok profiles, if they wish, to help advertise the new service.
In this way, TikTok will try to expand its platform for job seekers and for companies looking for staff.
